Blend modes
While doing this photoshop blend modes I took a picture of myself and there was a total of 26 different kinds of blend modes and I used pictures of me and put a different blend mode each time. As you can see that even though the same picture you can defiantly see the difference of blend modes. You can see how its different in color or in texture. With the first blend mode being dissolve From both layers, random pixels are taken in the dissolve mode. Most pixels are taken from the top layer when top layer opacity is higher than bottom layer opacity, but most pixels are taken from the bottom layer when top layer opacity is low. As this blend option does not employ anti-aliasing, the images could appear harsh and grainy and the last one being Saturation Saturation. The hue and brightness of the base colors are affected by the saturation of the blend colors in the saturation blending mode (details). If the base layer is a neutral gray, saturation won't make a difference. Because none of the pixels contain saturation, a black-and-white blend layer will make the image black and white. The blend modes might not all be in order you can still see the visual difference.
